Abstract Painting – Artist Xea B. – African Score
Traditionally, in Africa, history, philosophy, legends, mythology, were, still are, transmited orally and cannot be separated from music. Our hypothesis is, even though regarded as “non written” the African traditions are, in fact written in another way (see our text “La revanche du griot“).
Sculptures, paintings, prints, and many more ways of expressions would be there as an equivalent to scripture.
This abstract painting is deeply inspired by this concept and, therefore, reflects what, one day, will be regarded as such.
