The Hemba are a Central African population living in the southeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo from the Congo River and Lake Tanganyika in Katanga province and mainly in the territory of Kongolo. Some are also established in northern Zambia and Tanzania. This painting reflets an ancestor figure, one of the relevant part of the Hemba art.
